TERMS OF SERVICE

Data Protection:
By submitting registration details, delegates agree to allow The Language Summit and companies associated with the conference to contact them regarding their services. Delegates who do not wish to receive such communications please contact the events team at support@languagesummit.com. The contact details of registered attendees will be placed on the attendee list which will be passed to sponsoring companies and to attendees for them to see who is at the conference for the purpose of networking and meetings. Delegates who do not wish to be included on this list should advise The Language Summit at the time of booking.
Photographs, Publicity Material, Radio and Television and Print Media:
The Language Summit reserves the sole right to use any photographs, recordings, electronic images or publicity material received by or obtained by The Language Summit in the course of the event, for whatever use deemed proper by the Language Summit. The Language Summit has the exclusive right to include photographic, video and other visual portrayals of Attendees, Sponsors, Exhibitors and their Exhibits including its contents, in any pictorial medium of any nature whatsoever for the purpose of trade, advertising, sales, publicity and otherwise, without compensation to to the Attendee, Sponsor or Exhibitor, and all rights titled and interest bearing (including all worldwide copyrights therein) will be The Language Summit’s sole property, free of any claims of Attendee, Exhibitor or Sponsor or any persons deriving any rights or interest from the Attendee, Exhibitor or Sponsor.
Admittance:
In its sole discretion and without refund, The Language Summit reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the conference anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the conference or any other attendee.
Force Majeure:
The Language Summit shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the Venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of The Language Summit or its subcontractors. For one or more of such reasons, The Language Summit may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of The Language Summit. In the event the conference cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, The Language Summit shall not be liable to attendee for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses. The Language Summit will review refund and/or fee transfer requests, submitted in writing, for approval on a situational basis.

At Hallo, our mission is to provide the best shared social learning experience created by our growing community where teachers and students can interact safely. To achieve this goal, we ask that all users participate in such a way that promotes a friendly, pleasant experience for our global community.In addition to our Terms of Service below, we provide the following guidelines for our community at the Language Summit as well. These guidelines fall under a common sense philosophy and apply to all user generated content and activity on our services. This is considered a living document that we regularly update based on the evolution of the Hallo community and service. Additional guidelines or specific exceptions may be applicable for certain services or properties under the Hallo Service. To protect the integrity of our community, as the provider of the conference, at Hallo, we reserve the right to suspend or ban any account at any time for any conduct that we determine to be inappropriate or harmful. Such actions may include: removal of content and/or messages, ban of account(s), and/or suspension of account(s).
Breaking the Law:
You must respect all applicable local, national, and international laws while using our services. Any content or activity featuring, encouraging, offering, or soliciting illegal activity is prohibited.
Self-Destructive Behavior:
Any activity that may endanger your life or lead to your physical harm is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: suicide threats, intentional physical trauma, illegal use of drugs, illegal or dangerous consumption of alcohol, and dangerous or distracted driving.
Violence and Threats:
Acts and threats of violence will be taken seriously and are considered zero-tolerance violations and all accounts associated with such activities will be indefinitely suspended. This includes, but is not limited to: 1) Attempts or threats to physically harm or kill others 2) Attempts or threats to hack, DDOS, or SWAT others 3) Use of weapons to physically threaten, intimidate, harm, or kill others
Hateful Conduct and Harassment:
Hateful conduct is any content or activity that promotes, encourages, or facilitates discrimination, denigration, objectification, harassment, or violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, medical condition, physical characteristics, or veteran status, and is prohibited. Any hateful conduct is considered a zero-tolerance violation and all accounts associated with such conduct will be indefinitely suspended. Harassment is any content or activity that attempts to intimidate, degrade, abuse, or bully others, or creates a hostile environment for others, and is prohibited. Depending on the severity of the offense, your account may be indefinitely suspended on the first violation.
We prohibit using Hallo to facilitate hateful conduct or harassment, whether the targets are on or off Hallo. Individuals, communities or organizations that do so are not allowed to use our services. We may take action against users for hateful conduct or harassment that occurs off Hallo services that is directed at Hallo users.
Nudity, Pornography, and Other Sexual Content:
Nudity and sexually explicit content or activities, such as pornography, sexual acts or intercourse, and sexual services, are prohibited.
Content or activities that threaten or promote sexual violence or exploitation are strictly prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement. Child exploitation will be reported to authorities via the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Sexually suggestive content or activities are also prohibited, although they may be allowed in educational contexts or for pre-approved licensed content, in each case subject to additional restrictions.
Intellectual Property Rights:
You should only share content on Hallo that you own, or that you are otherwise authorized to share on Hallo. If you share content on Hallo that you do not own or otherwise do not have the rights to share on Hallo, you may be infringing another person’s intellectual property rights. This includes any third party content included in your content, derivative creations, or performances of others’ copyrighted content. We encourage you to assess your content for adherence to applicable intellectual property laws and the proper application of principles such as fair use, and to secure all appropriate rights needed, before sharing your content on Hallo.

However, Hallo Inc., strongly recommends keeping name and email displayed during the conference as it will help with personal networking and development.
