Michael Romrell
Cofounder and President at Literal, Serial Tech Entrepreneur
Michael is the Co-Founder and CTO at LiteralApp.com, a literacy app for students and English language learners in secondary education.
He is on a mission to create a new generation of engaged readers and believes that reading is one of the keys to successful language acquisition. After initially failing to learn French despite 3 years of classes, he found that he picked up Spanish within several months of moving to Panama.
He later graduated with his MBA from ESADE in Barcelona and has applied the lessons of those experiences to Literal in an effort to keep students more engaged as they work towards proficiency. Michael currently works with schools and educators across the US to improve literacy rates through the brain science of engagement.
