Dr. Jeb Hurley

Dr. Jeb S. Hurley is the co-founder and CEO of Xmetryx, a software company dedicated to building better teams with behavioral science, and a Founding Partner at Brainware, an organizational effectiveness consultancy.
His passion is helping leaders connect the dots between trust and performance. Jeb’s career journey began in sales and product management. Over the past 25 years, Jeb has held GM, VP, and CEO roles at companies ranging from Fortune 100 to startups and has co-founded three software companies.
He holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with a research focus on human motivation, engagement, and team effectiveness, along with MBA and BSBA degrees. Jeb is the author of Team Relationship Management (2019) and The One Habit (2017), along with over 70 articles on team behavior and leadership.

Breakout Session Description: The pressure to meet goals while working remotely creates high anxiety for many professionals. Dealing with tech issues and coordinating calendars is one thing. Keeping people motivated and relationships healthy at a distance can be quite another. The good news is that many organizations have been operating with remote teams for many years. And a lot of the people leading those teams are pretty good at it. Dr. Hurley has researched and worked with quite a few of them. In this session, he presents three essential behaviors that reduce friction, decrease stress, and lead to peak performance in remote groups.
